Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

Southern Maine Mosquito & Tick provides mosquito and tick control treatments designed to significantly reduce pest populations. Because environmental factors are beyond our control, complete elimination is not guaranteed.

2. Preparation & Access

To ensure effective treatment, you agree to:

  • Provide clear access to treatment areas

  • Keep pets indoors during service and for at least 1 hour after treatment

  • Remove or cover toys, pet bowls, food items, and sensitive materials

  • Notify us of fish ponds, edible gardens, beehives, or chemical sensitivities

Failure to properly prepare the property may reduce effectiveness and does not qualify for a refund.

3. Weather & Results

Rain, irrigation, neighboring properties, and standing water can impact results. If heavy rain occurs shortly after treatment, contact us and we will evaluate the need for a retreat at no additional cost.

4. Products & Safety

We use products registered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Maine Board of Pesticides Control and apply them according to label and state regulations. Safety information is available upon request.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of service unless otherwise agreed. Recurring programs are billed according to your service plan. Late or declined payments may result in service interruption.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim related to services is limited to the amount paid for that service.
